A key element of TVMC's mission is its commitment to music education with emphasis on nurturing the choral singers, directors and audiences of our next generation. To that end, the Chorale currently sponsors several outreach programs, such as an annual Youth Vocal Solo Competition, Scholarship Awards Program, and an annual Community Chorale Festival.
Youth Vocal Solo Competition
The TVMC Youth Vocal Solo Competition is the oldest educational outreach program sponsored by the Chorale. Each year, middle school and high school students have an opportunity to develop their vocal skills and perform in a professional setting. Noted adjudicators evaluate and give personal coaching to each participant. The top three winners in each division are awarded cash prizes totaling almost $2000 and are invited performers during one of TVMC's concert series.

The Temecula Valley Master Chorale was created to provide a repertory of choral music which seeks to nurture the public's appreciation of the life-enhancing qualities of the choral arts. Our mission is to provide local performances which will enrich the educational and cultural life of the community, to help and encourage young artists to expand their musical experience, and to demonstrate a professional attitude while performing quality musical literature.
Community Choral Festival
A culmination of the season, TVMC invites community choral groups from Southern California to perform in a joint concert that is free to the public. Each group performs several selections for an eclectic and entertaining concert.
Scholarship Award Program
TVMC is proud to offer scholarships to students wishing to advance their education in vocal music. Each year the Chorale donates money to the scholarship programs of Temecula Valley Unified School District and Murrieta Valley Unified School District whereby graduating seniors receive a $500 scholarship towards their continued study of music. Our scholarship program is funded through the generous donations of our patrons, and by our annual fundraisers.
