The Temecula Valley Vocal Competition

Division I - Grades 6 - 9, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Division II Grades 10 -12, 1:30 am to 4:30 pm

Grace Presbyterian Church, Temecula

Temecula Valley Master Chorale sponsors the vocal competition each year with winners in each category singing at one of the chorale's concerts. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three winners in each category. The goal of this competition is to encourage the students to explore and learn the classical style of singing. The adjudicators will be listening for quality vocal technique, including the singing language chosen by the participant, along with an interpretive musical style that is appropriate for the selection.
